DAC Urban Trail
The Danish Architecture Centre has organized an architectural run called DAC Urban Trail, every year from 2008-2016 gathering around 1000 runners through new urban neibourhoods. In 2016 we will run through the cities of Copenhagen, Roskilde and Elsinore, while enjoying both the new and old beautiful buildings.

A run in the beautiful halls of Kronborg Castle? A quick trip through Roskilde Cathedral or a run across the National Museum of Denmark? During fall and spring you can experience Copenhagen, Roskilde and Elsinore from a new angle when DAC Urban Trail invites you to a run through some of the most beautiful buildings in the different cities.
The event takes the runners out into a neighbourhood where there have been large and small changes in the district's architecture and development, about 1000 people participate every year in the race.
The routes are 10 km long and it is not about running as fast as you can, but about having fun and getting a different running experience than usual with friends, family or colleagues. If you are interested in architecture, urban life or culture DAC Urban Trail is an active way of experiencing this. If 10 km seems a bit too long, nothing stops you from taking a break or walking some of the distance.
