Aalborg City Hall

The city hall is a brick building in baroque style with frontispieces and pilasters. The facades are yellow-washed, the pilasters are white, and the mansard roof has black-glazed tile. The frontispiece facing the square is decorated with the national coat of arms and a bust of Frederik V. The well-preserved main entrance is a local example of the rococo style. The house is probably built on the basis of a drawing of Copenhagen's city hall at that time.
