Mellem Broerne

The residential complex Mellem Broerne ('Between the Bridges') consists of four wings in four storeys. They are constructed using light-coloured materials that relate to the surrounding buildings and impart a graceful form.
Recreational areas have been added in between the buildings, to ensure that buildings further back retain a view, and to provide sheltered leisure spaces.
In connection with the construction, a small city garden designed by Stig Lennart Andersson Landscape Architects was added in 2005. The garden is elevated above ground level, and has been done using materials such as asphalt and seashells, and with fountains that serve to connect the city and the water.
