Århus Art Building

Kunstbygningen is composed of two rectangular galleries surrounding the main entrance, which is indicated by a roof that is slightly higher than the roofs on the galleries. A detached, octagonal building adjoins one of the galleries and forms a space in the front square. The addition from 1993 is shaped like a curved, detached wall that is connected with the original building by means of two glass sections. Both the new and the old part of the museum are lit with roof light.
