The Regina complex, which was built as hotel and cinema, is an L-shaped structure with two wings placed round an incurved corner, which corresponds to the corner on the opposite side of Søndergade. The two wings enclose the former cinema with its rotunda foyer. The main entrance is emphasised by a beautifully decorated copper baldachin. The building is built in neo-classicist style with pilasters and granite cornices like the other buildings in the area round Banegårdspladsen.
