From an architectural point of view the building is interesting, as its appearance changes throughout the day because of the slidable aluminium shutters that regulate the indoor climate. When the shutters are closed, the red brick panels are dominant giving the building a certain weight; when the shutters are drawn back, the light aluminium and the glass panels dominate making the building seem airy. The large, characteristic openings in the facade let daylight pass to the very centre of the deep building.
