Fisketorvet Shopping Centre

The Fisketorvet (meaning 'the fish market') Shopping Centre gets its name from the city's original fish market, which was located in this exact spot from 1953 to 1999. Built like a giant ship, it overlooks the Copenhagen harbour front. Therefore the floors are called decks. There are two large courts within the centre called Pyramiden (The Pyramid) and Udsigten (The View).

The Fisketorvet Shopping Centre amounts to 57.000 m2 and contains restaurants, shops and a cinema. The centre is owned by Unibail-Rodamco that own a large number of shopping centres all over Europe.
