Danish Architecture Guide

Løvenborg, Hotel Savoy

The building, which was originally built for residential use with a hotel in the side wing, is an exceptional example of functionalistic inspired, art nouveau architecture. The modern construction built with a curtain wall is emphasised by the large windows and the facade details and ornamentation. The building is listed for protection and has gone through extensive restoration to recreate the previously altered lower facade in accordance with the style and architecture of the house.
