The Architect's House

Following an architectural competition this infill-assignment was realised in connection with the Copenhagen City of Culture project in 1996. Towards Strandgade the building appears as an office block floating above a high, glass clad lower floor. Viewed from the harbour side the building looks like a wooden case inside a glass case. The wooden case consists of vertical louvers, which allow the employees to adjust the sun protection on an individual basis.
