Tivoli Concert Hall

The restoration of the Tivoli Concert Hall had focus on keeping the unique Tivoli spirit. The concert hall was the largest and most modern in the Nordic countries when it was built in 1956 and has now been brought up to date.

A new circular three-story foyer with lounge, bar, outdoor café and a view to Tivoli was designed in connection with the restoration. White lacquered, twisted aluminum strings create a joyful facade which catches and reflects the sun during day and Tivoli’s many lamps at night. This 700m2 pavilion is the new main entrance to the concert hall and is characterized by a 30 meter aquarium along one of the walls – as a spectacular attraction and light provider to the lobby.
