Super Danish - The new Wave from Scandinavia
“Super Danish” is the name of the October issue of the Japanese magazine Architecture and Urbanism and it investigates the new architectural wave spreading from Denmark and Scaninavia.
The issue features 10 young practices at the forefront of this movement; PLOT, BIG, JDS Architects, COBE, TRANSFORM, EFFEKT, NORD Architects, ADEPT, SLETH, WE Architecture and jaja.
The guest essayists Kent Martinussen, CEO of The Danish Architecture Centre, and Boris Brorman Jensen, Associate Professor in Urbanism and Urban Design at the Arkitektskolen Aarhus, argue that Danish architecture is redefining the vanguard of international design.
