Photo competition: What is a groundbreaking construction to you?
Do you have a favourite construction that means something special to you? Share it with us by hashtagging your photos with #MyFavConstruction on Instagram and participate in the competition to win a gorgeous architecture package from the exhibition 'Groundbreaking Construction. You can participate until the 20th of December.
The exhibition 'Groundbreaking Constructions - 100 Danish breakthroughs that changed the world' is currently on display at the Danish Architecture Centre. It is like a greatest hits collection that portrays constructions built by innovative Danish architects and engineers.
In the exhibition, you can experience housing projects, offshore wind farms and cultural buildings from the school Munkegaard in Vangede, Great Belt Bridge to La Grande Arche in Paris.
But which constructions, buildings or facilities have been the most groundbreaking for you? We would like to see and hear your suggestions.
Maybe it is your old primary school that changed your experience of what a building is? Or a special urban space that invites you to play and move? A modern museum building that opened your eyes? Or maybe a high-tech train station? Or something completely different?
On Intstagram you can also follow Rambøll who will post good examples of groundbreaking constructions every day in December.
